Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Compensation: $115 K - $150 K depending on education & experience

Duties And Responsibilities
Without limiting the generality of the Act, the RM Administrator will:
- Ensure that the policies and programs of the RM are implemented, up to date and followed.
- Recruit and hire staff as identified as established in the budget and maintain positive staff relations.
- Recommend objectives, policies and programs to Council and provide guidance and assistance on new initiatives and fiscal matters.
- Provide responsible reporting, financial planning and budget management.
- Develop positive relationships and maintain open communication with all stakeholders, ratepayers and constituents of interest to the Municipality.
- Advise and inform Council on the operations and affairs of the RM attending all Council Meetings.
- According to policy, deal with any legal matters, contracts, land transactions and expenditures.
- Ensure that all expenditures of the RM are approved within the annual operating budget and 10-year capital plan.
- Call for tenders and arrange for contracts for the supply to the RM of goods, services, and work as authorized by the budget.
- Work with the Public Works Foreman and Infrastructure Manager to prioritize and assign repair and replace projects.
- Exercise other powers and perform other duties and functions as required by RM Council.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, analytical and leadership skills.
- Possess technical skills and experience in organization oversight, human resource management, and municipal administration.
- Possess a Rural Class "C" or ”A” Certificate is an asset or be willing to obtain.
- Possess a business or accounting certificate or diploma and / or a university degree in a related field is an asset.
- Experience or familiarity with oil and gas industries and able to administer complex, detailed contracts.
- Proficient in Windows and internet applications, Microsoft Office, and Munisoft accounting software.
- Community minded.
