Dear Valued Municipal Hail Customer,
I am writing to introduce myself as the R.M of Frenchman Butte No. 501’s agent for Municipal Hail Insurance (MHI) and I would like to take a few minutes of your time to remind you of the important dates and information.
June 15th all crop reports are due.
August 1st is the last day to purchase Additional insurance (this has sold out early the last two years so best not to wait).
For owners of Land, SMHI provides continuous hail insurance coverage up to $425 per acre, premiums are paid as taxes allowing for early payment discounts and deferred payment to December 31st interest free.
AMHI provides coverage on crops not insured with SMHI and top up coverage up to $500 per acre. A combined limit higher than $500 may be accepted pending head office approval.
AMHI has three different payment options;
1. Cheque or Credit Card at the time of application
2. Deferred cheque payment due August 1st at cash rate
3. Promissory note payment due October 15th , conditions apply
