Have you filled out your 293 Exemption Form yet? If you own, rent or lease land you are required to fill out a 293 Exemption Form for the 2021 reassessment year in order to qualify for the exemption. You can come in to the office to fill out your form or you can print a copy from the link listed below. Deadline is December 1, 2020. If you have an improvement (residence) in the RM of Frenchman Butte and own, lease or rent land in our RM or a neighboring RM, the taxable assessment on that land is applied against the taxable assessment on your improvement, which in turn lowers the amount you pay for taxes on your improvement. We are asking that all residents who own a home in the RM of Frenchman Butte to fill out an exemption form prior to December 1, 2020.

Lumeca App - Health Information
As of March 19th, Saskatchewan residents can now access virtual healthcare services from Lumeca, with a particular focus on COVID-19 screening and general health consultations. Lumeca is a Regina based company that develops healthcare technology to bring timely access to doctors and allied healthcare professionals. In recent months, members of the Lumeca team had met with the SARM Insurance and Benefits Department, as well as presented to the SARM Board of Directors, to inform us of their new service and the potential value it could bring to RM employees, Council Members and their families.
With this announcement, Lumeca, in cooperation with the Government of Saskatchewan, is now an approved service provider for virtual healthcare services. Their technology allows patients direct access to licensed Saskatchewan doctors through safe and secure text, audio and video consultations where doctors can provide advice, diagnoses and prescriptions for a wide range of conditions while patients are in the safety and comfort of their homes.
Lumeca is available for free to all Saskatchewan residents with a valid Saskatchewan Health Card. The service is available 24/7 for COVID-19 screening and general health consultations. Lumeca hopes to relieve pressure off the healthcare system and meet the demand from Saskatchewan residents who need medical advice during this challenging time. This service will allow for easy access to health care whether you are self-isolating, exhibiting symptoms or need specific questions answered.
To access this service, download the Lumeca app on the App Store (for iPhone & iPad) or on Google Play (for Android), by searching for Lumeca.
To learn more, go to lumeca.com and share this information with your friends, family and community.
The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency is encouraging people to download the SaskAlert App so they can receive critical COVID-19 information in a timely manner.
The app also allows people to choose how and when to hear the emergency alerts. Click here to download the app.
The more people that have the app, the more efficiently emergency information can be shared.
